Looking into applying for schools now.. Originally from NY, and my mentor advises against schools in the South (NC and VA) because of the difficulty I'd have getting licensed if I ever did decide to move closer to home and practice in NY.

Could anyone speak a little more on this?

Thank you!

Wouldn't be any harder than any other state to state transfer if you've been practicing for more than a year. If you just go to school and wanted to move back right after graduation, you would have to take the NY compounding exam, but that isn't necessary if you're getting reciprocity.

Should probably ask this in Pre-Pharmacy forum though.
