i was recently cleaning out all of my application paperwork and i came across a bunch of contact info from volunteering, shadowing, etc. and was about to get rid of it but then i stopped lol

is there any reason to hold onto this stuff? once you're accepted schools don't go through and ask for additional info to verify ec's right (for example i only had 1 doc's name listed in the ec section for shadowing, so schools aren't going to want all the different e-mails to verify) i figured once you're in schools have done their checks and i can get rid of all this stuff right?

Better safe than sorry. I'd just hang on to it.

i guess you're right

i guess it is more logical for schools to contact applicants than google the contact names we listed lol

Nope! WHy? Save yourself the stamp and go get drunk to celebrate your future MD(or DO)ness!

Put all the info in one word document and then you'll always have it. If you haven't already, write down what you did. I put a bit of college stuff in my ERAS (residency application), so it was nice to have something written down.

if you don't mind me asking what type of info from college did you put? is it correct that you will include undergrad stuff like research/publications but not things like volunteering and shadowing?

thanks!

thank you all for your imput!
ok i'm going to keep everything and try to condense but one more question lol

for volunteering and shadowing, having an e-mail address is enough contact info right?

Yeah, research and one big leadership activity (probably didn't need it but thought it would be interesting). I actually had one interviewer ask me about all the college stuff (in a very relaxed way).
