Contact programs w/o Step 2

Hey guys. I still haven't heard from certain programs. I should be receiving my Step 2 score next week Wednesday. I'm not sure if I should send these places an e-mail stating I'm interested and should be receiving my Step 2 score next week so I don't get a rejection e-mail before that time. If I get above a 250, I'm planning on sending them an e-mail to reconsider my application. What do you guys think> Thanks!

I would recommend a brief email to the places you are really interested in and why including any updates. It is possible to get an interview that way.
