Continue Research or Summer Internship

What do you think. Would you rather keeps during your research project at your school (been doing since last summer and will be doing until at least next summer) Or would you take a break and go somewhere else to do some other kind of research?

Your topic says internship, but the question here is reasearch or more research. Ever consider doing something a bit more interesting with your summer, such as a big volunteer project? I know many people who burned out doing research so be careful. I'm so glad I spent my summers away from school, great way to unwind!

It would depend on how my project was going. If I was getting good results in my current lab, I'd stay with that. If things weren't going that well at the moment, a change of scenary for a few months might be a good thing.
