Hi,

I was doing the Cornell application, and they asked for the semester credits for my courses. However, since i was in a quarter school, I need to know how to convert it.

The AMCAS app converted them to Semester HOURS, is that the same or different?

Thanks

it is always like that

If you have 5 credit hours from a quarter system school. Divide that by 1.5 will give you about 3 semester hours.

Like the physics required for pre-med. My school(quarter system) requires s to take 3 quarters of 5 credit hours physics. So 15/1.5 will give you 10 semester hours, which is right since studnet from semester syetm school take take 2 semester of 5 credit hours physics.

Hope that helps...
