What is the difference between a "coordinate covalent bond" & a "non-coordinate covalent bond"?

In coordinate covalent bonds one atom donates both electrons. In non-coordinate covalent bonds each atom donates one electron to the bond. Examples of coordinate covalent bonds are lewis acid-base pairs. 👍

Thanks...I guess a coordinate covalent bond is the same as an ionic bond but weaker...

They are not the same. Coordinate covalent bonds are covalent . Ionic bonds are bonds brought about by opposing charges, and they do not share any electrons.
