If you have anything other than plain text the formatting will be off.
I would recommend working in Office and then copy/pasting your essays to Notepad or some other plain text editor. You can check your format there and ensure it looks good. Then copy/paste out of Notepad to AMCAS. Or you can use Word to save plain text documents, but I found that cumbersome.
