Does anyone know of a non-brute force method to copy and paste individual bits of SPSS output into a data table, like in Excel or OpenOffice Calc?
For example, lets say you run 50 regressions, but you only want a few Ps and Rs per regression. I know it's easy to export SPSS output to a .xls, but then you're stuck copying and pasting cells one by one to the data table. Is there a way to automate (or semi-automate) this stage of the process to reduce time and human error? I was playing around with some macros and macro recording in OpenOffice today, but I think I'm in a bit over my head.
