Yeah, I've had the same message since August too and am in NY as well. A bunch of us from NY seem to be in the same boat (out of a very small sample) although there are non-local people who have the same message for a long time as well. Do you think it is worth calling? I don't want to ruin my chances by seeming impatient, although I have waited for five months.

I was complete in mid-August and my status page states that my app is STILL under review. I grew up in NY and my parents still live there but I'm technically a resident of MI.

Complete since beginning of August (OOS), and I'm still being told to "be patient"---guess they are trying to instill that trait in their applicants 😉

Has anyone asked Cornell what's up with being complete for soooo long w/o any status changes? There has to be some logic to their system...maybe.

I called today. The woman who answered was very nice but basically told me that she couldn't tell me anything about my application. I asked if it was possible to get an interview now after being complete since August and she said that it was definitely possible. My guess is that we are in a "hold" category and will be re-reviewed at some point. Or, they just haven't had time to send out all of the rejection letters yet...

Yesterday I got my letter from Cornell wishing me good luck and telling me ever so nicely how I'm not worthy of an interview.

Yes...this was the decision that was mailed out.
