Just wondering whether Cornell has started to send out rejection letters yet. Does anyone know? If so, when was the letter postmarked?

I was just wondering because I wanted to send them an update letter and some supplementary materials, but I didn't want to waste my time if I was already rejected. My application was complete 11/3, and I haven't heard anything, so that would be ample time for them to have reviewed it. I am also in TX, so it might have take awhile for me to get the letter. Not really sure what to do.

I'm sorry to hear this. Cornell sucked anyway. I absolutely didn't like the school from what I saw on the interview day. Besides, I am sure you'll all get into better schools that actually treat people with respect.

what were your thoughts on Cornell? Also, I don't think they're rejecting interviewees yet, are they? That would be shocking. I was hoping to withdraw before they get a chance to reject me.... 'cause I didn't really put in a great effort once I saw that they sucked and I know they'll eventually reject me.

yeah, i didnt know that you guys meant post-sec... if for some reason they were handing out post-int rejects already, im sure id be on that list.

i was turned off of the school by my two interviews. both of them grilled me on why i would ever want to spend that amount of money to go to cornell when i could just go to a state school. its a fair question, but its also laced with bull****.
