I have some questions for those students who attend schools that can receive corporate sponsorship (from Zoetis Merial B&I and Bayer etc) for clubs, SCAVMA and socials.
1) Do corporate sponsors provide the speakers for club meetings or are the clubs responsible for finding presenters and the sponsors then donate funds?
2) How does your SAVMA chapter raise revenue?
3) How are your socials subsidized? by SCAVMA or by companies?
4) Has your school discussed a no corporate sponsorship policy? Such as equal opportunities for companies?
5) Do they have current limits on corporate sponsorship?
6) Do the corporate sponsors donate directly to the clubs or is it indirectly funneled through SCAVMA or the school?
7) What type of gifts did you receive when you entered veterinary school from corporate sponsorships?
