all of the for profit correctional health companies are horrible. They often lobby for aggressive incarceration policies because it's good for business and often get slapped with malpractice suits. I have worked with Liberty and they might be less bad than the others but the jail programs are usually psychologist led, and they don't provide immunity for contractors (they have a unilateral indemnification clause). The jails are full of psychotic inmates which is not good for telehealth. In contrast, the prison population is more stable and appropriate for telehealth but they don't use private contractors or allow telehealth from home (with very limited exceptions).
