I am taking the Kaplan course and I am just wondering if there is a correlation between how you do on the Kaplan tropicals and subject test and the MCAT. Let's say you getting 70% constantly on these tests. How would it reflect your MCAT scores?
Thanks

There have been several threads on this topic; take a look further down the page and/or do a search. The general consensus seems to be that the Kaplan materials are harder than the real thing, although many people found that their real scores were lower than their practice scores.

Those damn topical tests are really in depth on certain topics. I took Kaplan summer 2002 and i remember those physics topical exams were really in depth and those passages were difficults. I asked the Kaplan director, (who also scored a 39 on his MCAT and took Kaplan) he said to use the topical tests as a judge of how well you understand some of the basic concepts. He also said that some of those questions on the topical tests were so damn hard he didnt even understand them. I didnt do too well on the physical science topicals but it was my highest score on the MCAT. The bio science tests were good for review....dont remember how i did on them though
