So since I can't concentrate enough to study knowing that my score is on some mail truck right now and I should be getting it tomorrow I decided to try and figure out this whole correlation thing. I dropped some of the data you guys have been posting into excel, plotted the graphs with trendlines and got some R-squared values. Granted this is a weak study b/c my sample size is 19 and not everyone posted every variable, but for what its worth here are the results
MCAT: R-sq = .4238
Q-bank final: R-sq = .6956
NBME (avg of the 2 for those who took both and just the single score for those that took one, one exception was a person who took one b4 studying and one after and did significantly better I just used the latter score here):
R-sq = .7047
