Cosigned Letter of Rec

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As in both the professor and grad student signed the letter? That's strange, but whoever is most likely to respond to the letter request.

Well, if you are getting the letter cosigned, I assume that the grad student was the main author of the letter. If the professor was the main author, then you should have no problem having them be the sole signer. I would probably put down the graduate student's contact information if your scenario is as I described.

Get your prof to sign it and make sure they address him/her in the letter. My name is Dr. x, im a prof at y...
Some schools may not accept letters written by grad students.
