Counseling Psychs,

Were any of you able to get hospital internships/post-docs/employment? I know Counseling Psychs are often employed at VA's, but I'm curious about traditional hospital settings. Any info?

I am Counseling Psych, and I have an internship at a hospital right now. I don't think it matters too much overall, but some sites have heavy clinical > counseling biases.

I have a counseling psych degree. I got interviews at two well-known hospital sites (two of the four hospitals I applied to, and the other two were Brown and MGH). I ended up matching at a counseling center (that I ranked higher than either of them, so who knows where they ranked me). I did hospital prac, which I think is the crucial thing.
