For those of you practicing pharmacy and in pharmacy school...

You live in the best country in the world and will be able to live better than 90% of the US population. That's pretty much a guaranty.

School may get you down and hectic work may piss you off...

But let's face it. Life is good....

I need to stop drinking.

No, no, keep drinking. I want to read more. Im gonna go get the only alcohol I have in the house...white wine🙁
 
Yes, I agree with you that we live in a great country and we do live better that 90% of the population. However, why is it that all I have in this house is dry tasting Pinot Grigio? I dont even like this wine? Why?why? It is making me feel a little tired...😀

Dude..if I was single... I would be living in a high rise loft. Black leather Italian furnitures. Large Plasma TV, Bed, and gourmet kitchen. Refrigerator filled with import dark beers and coor light for my sissy buddies. Couple of bottles of Tanqueray... and a martini shaker.

Oh man....do not get started thinking about what you would do with all this money if you were single with no kids....It will drive you crazy😕
 
depends what you buy

PS3:ncaa 08, resistance: fall of man, Call of Duty 3, assassins creed

360: ncaa 08, gears of war, COD3, wait for Halo 3, etc

but those are what I like, sports and 1st person shooters

got myself a house in fl, a bimmer, and some nice furniture. Something is missing....PS3? That wine has messed me up a bit...

Yeah yeah.... I have my NCAA....but my daughter has her Nemo game..bug's life... some Dragon stuff...

A buddy of mine says the PS3 blows XBOX 360 out of the water. Game selection is less, but graphics and blu ray ir great. Is that about right?

I like the PS3 for the blu ray, but if you want gaming options go with the 360

I think the new ones can play HD DVDs ?

I need one of those too, because Batman Begins and V for Vendetta are, at this point, just HD DVD, no blu ray yet 🙁

well, I think hardware wise, the PS3 is superior, but the 360 has a much greater library of games

hell, if I were a single pharmacists I'd buy both, but that's me 😀

Whoever said I was single? I live alone, but maybe there is more in my life.... regardless, maybe i will just get both🙂
 
ive just noticed I only have 265 posts. Man o man I have a long way to go.
 
Read my blog. That game almost made me cry.

As a continuation of my blog post, I made it a little further in the game and it gets worse in the "5 year olds shouldn't play this game" category. At a certain point you can actually buy a worker to go around and water your crops for you...just a one time fee, no continued salary. That's right, folks. Viva Pinata is teaching kids SLAVERY now. This game is up there with Grand Theft Auto on the antimorality scale, I tells ya...

I still consider Canada as a part of the US.. kinda... :meanie:

Used to drive my Canadian buddy nutz when I used to ask...why didn't Canada join the US? He would reply angrily...why didn't the US join Canada??

I always said.. "Too Cold."

There's nothing on the PS3 that looks better than Xbox games right now. Gears of War actually looks much better than any current PS3 game. And Halo 3 and Grand Theft Auto 4 are coming this fall 👍. I've been holding off on buying an Xbox 360 though because a price drop is supposedly coming soon next month and the previous Xboxes had a lot of defectives. That's right -- even though I'm finally making a good pharmacist salary, I still can't get over being a cheap student.

And that's until you go into a hospital and ask "Where's the McDonald's??", and everyone acts extremely confused as to why there'd actually be fast food in a hospital.

A guy I met from tennessee was amazed Burger King wasn't in a local hospital haha.
 
When I was in Columbus at Ohio State University, there was a bank in the hospital, Walgreens, among a few fast food places.

I suppose the surgeon and banker can talk with your insurance company before they begin your procedure...

The food at the hospital I used to work at wasn't any better for you. The lasagna was oozing with oil, there was a line with mostly fried items, and the "healthy" vegetables on the hot line were covered in butter. I know food is more fattening in the south, but I couldn't believe how fat I became. I will never wear scrubs again if I can help it! I just got a little fatter over and over again without noticing it because the scrubs covered the curves too well.--- I've lost 16lbs since that fat point in my life, but I've gained back 2lbs.😳

After 30 years in the profession, I have to agree. We pharmacists have it good.
