alright may 11th mcaters, the time is close!!! 12 more days!! what's everyone doing to pass the time?? i'm a nervous wreck..lol

Just another good luck to all my fellow May 11 MCATerss!! The stress is killing me but knowing the results are only a few days away makes things a little more bearable!!

FYI, my score is now down to a 19, :laugh:

The 13th is my fiance's birthday too so I told her it was either going to be a really good day, or a really bad day :scared:

it is soooooooo close! i had a dream last night that i got a 11, 10, 11. The weirdest part was that i got a writing score of B! even in the dream i knew that didnt make sense. i was confused. scores are supposed to be j-t. so i guess i failed the writing section. i had no idea i was stressed about that. :laugh: how is everyone spending the nest few days? i signed up for a computer class for work which will take up all day monday and tuesday 9-5. i plan to hit up happy hour both days as well. wednesday i am meeting with one of my advisers from undergrad at like 10am. i havent seen her since i graduated in 05 so that should be fun. then i will be at work until 5pm. i have not decided yet where i want to be when i get my scores. at work? at home? at my boyfriend's? with or without alcohol or chocolate?:luck:

haha...i've already given my g/f my username and password so she can tell me if i met my goals or not on each section...otherwise i don't even want to see my score lol i'm soooooooooo scared!! 😱

I'm predicting an 8-9 on PS (although I might get lucky), a 9 or 10 on VR (although I've never scored less than 10 on a practice test, so if I do on the real thing, I shall be angry), and a 10-12 on the BS.

Overall, I feel like a 27-31 is possible, which is slightly below my practice. But what do my conjectures really matter anyway? Wednesday will reveal all.

I'm just happy to be tied up with research and work. But never again will I do research involving telephone surveys. A warning to all: NEVER DO TELEPHONE SURVEYS. THEY ARE AWFUL. STICK WITH BENCH WORK.

That is all.

Yes, uck to the tele surveys. I had to do those for a research class and I felt like a f'in telemarketer. :laugh:

The January scores came out around 5AM eastern. I think the April came out closer to 5PM. Let hope for the earlier time. If the scores are not up early morning Wednesday, we will probably have a waiting game for the rest of the day.

i really hope they don't keep track of how many times you check to see if your scores have been posted yet!! :laugh: do they usually post on the expected release date (june 13th for me) or has anyone heard of scores being released a day or two early?

Add me into the group of SDN's that took the May 11th! I just joined tonight...figured I needed something else to do online besides checking to see if the scores have been posted yet... lol

i'm having nightmares about the 5/16 BS. I thought that section was particularly difficult! i was ready to void after taking that :fingers crossed: 🙁

Hmm, I wldnt say nighmares per se, because Im distracted with other things at the moment.

But it sure was TUFF as hell, I used the restroom after the section just to re-assure myself. :meanie:

And, I've been wondering- there's so much abt may 11/16/31.. but not many have commented on may 25- was it really that EASY, that ppl dont care ?😱

Fellow 5/25er here: I've been wondering about the same myself!

I'm more worried about the VR than the PS, here's hoping it turns out okay for all of us!

There was a thread about the may 25th test, opinions were basically: BS straightforward, PS hard as hell, VR average.

Hey qtr! I wasnt very happy with either PS or VR- but well, VR wasn't tougher than what I thgt it wld be.

Anyway, its over- i'll b happy if i match atleast my practice scores:laugh:

Hey guy I was just wondering if you lose point when you don't properly mark the answers? As you know in the test we have to check a,b,c,d AND mark it everytime but i realized until too late at the end of the physical section that i didn't "mark" some of my answer...

Ummm, no. It is a simple multiple choice test. Select your answer and move on.

you didn't have to "MARK" your answers, only chose a, b, c, or d. the only purpose of the "mark" button was if you were unsure on a question, you could mark it, so at the end of a section you can review all your marked questions. the graders will not see what you did and did not mark

i want to know what time of day the scores will come out. i will not be by a computer between 10am and 1:45pm!!!! i emailed the mcat people asking casually when scores for may 11th would be released. all they said was expected release date is june 13th. thanks for the help.👎 so nervous.

Yeah, I am nervous....this was my last stab at this awful test. It is such and awful wait. And why don't people understand that you really don't have a clue how well it went? Especially with that 5/11 test! I think I did pretty well in VR. That is all I can guess. And if it doesn't go well......:scared: What are you guys doing to avoid the.... "how'd you do?!"

I totally agree!! BS was so much harder than I had expected. I just hope that we're not the only ones that feel that way. I also considered voiding the test but decided against it. I guess we will see in a few days!! Good luck!

I keep on having butterflies in my stomach feeling like the scores are already posted, but then I check and they're not. My attempts are futile, and I already know they won't be up until Wednesday.🙁

last night I dreamed that I got a 39 but then they called me and said they made a mistake and it was supposed to be a 19!

i can't believe it's tomorrow. i really wish i had an idea of what time of day the scores will be released.

You don't even want to know how I feel. Scared but will be glad if I see it. I can't sleep. I've been checking the website since last Friday...Hmmm....come what may, I will still apply!

My suggestion to you guys - go out and have fun tonight! I'm gonna make sure I stay out so long that I don't hit the sack til 4am. Then, no matter what time they come out it'll be before I wake up 🙂

I only told one good friend and my family about this, so I'm not too concerned about what to say when I see that 19. Just reregister and actually study hard this time :scared:
