alright may 11th mcaters, the time is close!!! 12 more days!! what's everyone doing to pass the time?? i'm a nervous wreck..lol

I had a dream that I got a 20 and woke up immediately. It was 4:20 am. I stumbled to the computer to check if scores were up yet. Nothing. *sigh*

We should all bet on what time we think the scores will be up. I bet they'll be up at 2:00....

Me wants scores....

Wouldn't it suck if you thought you were going to get your scores this whole time and then by mistake when you were taking the test, you voided it....

Damn...I have to go to work.

Last night, I was at my girlfriend's house, and this was our conversation:

Her: "Will you call me at work when you get your scores?"
Me: "Sure, will you make me feel better if they're bad? Will you still love me?"
Her: "Of course I'll still love you, but I'll have to marry someone rich, because if you do poorly there's no way you're going to be a Doctor, but I'll show my love for you by putting shiny quarters in your hat as I walk by your spot on the street."
Me: "Awesome."

I have decided on a plan that seems to really not help me be any less stressed, i have just been checking every half hour instead of studying for my anatomy exam this afternoon, which I will prob. fail b/c all I can think about is my damn score.

I noticed if you say that you aren't entering any other test scores (i.e. the GRE) and if you check that you aren't going to take the MCAT again in the future then I think that section says "complete" whether you have your current MCAT scores or not. I think in that way you could probably send in your AMCAS without knowing your MCAT because they know you took the MCAT and that it'll be automatically uploaded anyways.

At least that's what I got from it. So that just means your answers in the section are complete, not that it's as complete as you'd like it to be, but just like the other sections, complete enough to submit.

ugghh....still not up. I haven't told any of my friends or family that they're coming out today so that I don't have to deal with the "have you got your scores yet?" pestering....I just warned them, "if I'm moody suddenly, then you'll know what's up."

Good luck everyone, damn MCAT, you spend all this money and the least you expect is that they release the scores on time, its been over 30 days already!! :bullcrap:

still no scores people...i had a dream i got a 12!!! i woke up n started praying like crazy to find no scores..better luck tomorrow i guess

I can't play guitar, watch the tennis channel, eat or sleep any longer. I need my score so I can just start studying for the July 24th test or not. Just give a man a 30.

I'm waiting for the May 25th scores here...I don't think I can take another 2 weeks!

For all of you that are waiting today, I got an email from my premed advisor that she had forwarded from the MCAT people saying...
"We expect to release scores for the May 11 administration of the Medical College Admission Test at approximately 5 pm Eastern time today. If we experience any significant delay, we will write to you again."

Just thought I should pass that on! Good luck everyone!

Thanks... that's what I was expecting for the release time, but it's not going to stop me from checking every 5 min until then. :laugh:

I could be wrong, but I think I remember the scores for the April 7th MCAT coming out around 2pm or so.... No idea if they're remotely consistent with score release though. Could be a different time for every administration. Methinks they like to squeeze the most angst and uncertainty as possible out of us those last few hours. Otherwise, why not just say "Scores will be released at __p.m. EST on June 12th" on their web site when they chose a time?

april 7th was released 12:00pm pacific time.

Meh... I was hoping it was going to be at like 9 am this morning. Didn't happen. Ah well... I'll freak my boyfriend out at 3 then...

So the doctor I am working for asked me an interesting question as I sit at work and wait for my scores, What is the minimum score you will accept, what would make you retake?

i am losing my damn mind. i keep goinf back and forth wanting to know and not wanting to know. but i want the option to see the scores. now. please.

I have no clue how I did... but here's how I'll feel depending on the score:

<30 - Devastated, will definitely retake
30-32 - Satisfied, but might retake
33-34 - Happy, I'll stick with it
>34 - Ecstatic

why don't they say anything about it on the website? when i took it before i remember there being updates about whne scores would be out. on the mcat home page and when you log into Thx. Why are they so shady? 👎
