I love how they put the "tentative" at the end, as if they're not even sure if we're getting them tomorrow.

here's hoping everyone gets a good night sleep while waiting. This indeed sucks another 24 "tenative hours" of waiting. Blast away at aamc, they have earned this one.

I have never posted on this forum but have read what you guys have been saying and I need some advice...
I took the test May 11th and felt like I didnt do as well as I had on the AAMC practice tests (scores between 33 and 35). So what I did, and maybe somebody else did this as well, was I registered for the June 15th test, because I assumed that they would have released the scores on June 13th...like they said months ago. May 11th was the 3rd time I have taken the test, and I only wanted to take the June 15th exam if I had done poorly on the May 11 exam. Now that the scores will come out tomorrow (at least thats what they claim), I wont even have tomorrow to get mentally prepared for a test. Also, if I take the june 15th test and leave the test center still not knowing my scores from May 11th, there is no way to void my June 15th scores....and then I will have 4 sets of scores loaded onto my AMCAS application, which doesnt look to good.
Sorry for the confusing story, but I would really appreciate somebody's advice and like to know if anybody is in the same boat as me.

The May 11th exam was bad and evil... so 11:59 pm. I hate them for giving such a f'ed up exam. I hate AAMC. I wish I could make the AAMC ppl take MCAT exams and then make them wait 30 days. If they don't get above a 30 they die. Then on the 30th day, I'll be like, oops, soorry a glitch in the system I think it will be out tomorrow. Happy suffering motherf*ckers! 😉

um....what does everyone say to an automatic increase of 5 points to everyone's score to compensate for all this undue stress and psychological trauma??

mshheaddoc, how were we supposed to know that this thread was for scores only? Second, why is it for scores only? Third, we are not counting down, we are trying to get the "official" information to anyone reading. This seems the appropriate place. I don't mean to start an argument on my second day, but are we doing something wrong here?

Goodbye guys. i need to log off and turn my damn computer off. I hate this so much!. DAMMIT.

If the scores come out by tonight, good luck to all. If they come out tomorrow, I hope those mother****er AAMC people all get bit by a snake.

i dont know if youre allowed to check your phone during breaks, but you could have someone text you your scores, if they're up that day, before bio. although taking the mcat AND getting mcat scores at the exact same time would probably cause your head to explode.

It states at the beginning of the thread its for serious discussion and scores. Those who lurk know the rules from previous threads. I was only stating that to remind people to not start posting random stuff. Usually there is a countdown thread and then a score thread. You can post in the countdown thread here

Relevant information to the release of scores isn't considered witty banter and of course is permitted. 😉

And before that, it said that all April scores had been uploaded. It's probably just a general message. Though it would be rather funny if a bunch of random people from May 16th checked early and got all excited, only to find out they weren't releasing those scores early...

I just wanted to say that this is my first post and I just joined because of this atrocity with the MCAT score release. I have been reading some past posts and some people have been saying that the PS section was all messed up. i was just wondering what exactly was meant by that? when i walked out of the exam center i was definitely shaking my head and not feeling so sure about the whole thing.

hopefully we can get our scores at a decent time tomorrow and not 11:59 pm

Umm... am I the only one who thinks that this entire board needs to chill out?? I took the May 11 test too, and don't get me wrong, I'd like to see my scores, but spending an entire day doing nothing but checking every 5 minutes seems seriously obsessive. They'll be up when they're up, and they are what they are. Just relax, go and DO something (besides calling and bitching at AAMC), and check tomorrow afternoon.

Odds are that it's a 9-5 type of place that does the processing, and your scores are not going to be posted in the middle of the night. Go to bed.

This is a looooong road that we have ahead of us. 30-something days for a test score is a small wait in relation to the months that people spend waiting to hear after interviews, or on wait lists. As much as we think it's "our right" to have fast turnaround, and that we should "demand" better service from AAMC, the truth is that they probably don't care at all. They'll get the scores up when they're ready to go up. It's out of your hands right now, so relax. Watch a movie. Get some sleep. Stop freaking out!!!

I knew this exam was glitched! Something about it just didn't feel right. Let's all hope for a nice pretty curve😛

It seemed very calculation heavy... I guessed on a couple questions because no matter how many times I ran the calculation, I wasn't getting any of the answers.

I was kinda hoping to get them up today, so I could send in my AMCAS application tonight, and give my professor stuff for a LOR tomorrow when I'm in town, OR figure out what to do because my score was so low.

I think the "witty banter" was me and I apologize, I forgot about the "serious discussion" part and was trying to lighten things. Sorry.

If they don't have it up by 15 AT THE LATEST those of us (a minority but still) who are due by then are going to be upset

Sorry, they don't allow you to use your phone at the test center.
Yikes, I remember that day, May 11th, 10mins break was the shortest break I have ever experience. I"ve also been checking for a pretty long time. Can't even concentrate at work. Being crying all week...can't eat. Will these ppl put it up! I hope that i won't have to retake for a 3rd time.

wow this is ridiculous. I planned my day around this, i specifically went out and kept myself busy at 4:00 so i wouldn't stress out and spent way too much money at the mall to compensate for the crappy feeling on my return, and now no scores. oh well, i guess i'll have to do it all again tomorrow. does anyone know if scores are ever out in the middle of the night? or do they always wait til the next day?

Glitch in the system? Glitch uploading? They need to scan/put documents into word and email it to all of us, since they have our emails anyways 🙄

Sorry guys. I jinxed all of us by expressing doubt that this would be a smart move when I knew i had to have marks in by June 15, in case they were late 😳 Of course ours is the only one they were late for...

*whining* we don't get to decide we're having technical difficulties getting to/writing the mcat...even when the address of the test center was written down wrong...etc...they just need pressure to stick to their deadline-even if it means notifying everyone individually by email 😳😛

Yes I know I'm being childish and unrealistic...but this has been a long haul and it was a heck of an exam 😛

Yup I guess its vis-a-vis their previous announcement for may 11 stating that scores will b released on june 13. i dont think it refers to all may scores

In some skewed way cld it be that some deliberation is gg on for any may 11 qns? prolly some were wrong or sthng 😛 Ok, I ddnt take the may 11 test- so i have no clue, no offense mean! 🙂

After a few minutes on hold with some relaxing spanish music, I spoke to a nice man named Jeremy at the AAMC's MCAT section (Thursday, June 14th, 10:37 AM EST).

I asked if he had an ETA for the scores today, and he said that they had no idea when scores would be up. He said that when they went to load the scores yesterday there was a technical problem, and they're trying to fix that today. He had no information beyond that, and wouldn't conjecture beyond the limited scope of information he was told (and what we already knew).

I'm posting this to save a bunch of us from burning phone time up in their system waiting for an operator. I don't think there's anything more to the story than a big "Oopsies".

Good luck to us all. Personally, I can handle this big cloud of mystery better than being told a specific time and anxiously waiting for it to arrive. Plus, I have an exam in a few hours, and I've been so on edge the past few days I haven't studied at all. Now that I have no sympathetic nervous system left thanks to the MCAT blunder, I can get back to real life.

Have the 5/11 scores been posted yet? Sorry if this info has already been given but I can't seem to find out for sure.

Thanks for the update....uggg I'm so mad at AAMC right now, its taking them forever updating the scores and processing my transcripts! I feel like I'm just waiting around all day refreshing both pages to see if everything is in yet. I just want to be done so that everything is out of my hands!

I think there is somthing seriously wrong with the may 11th exam. Do you guys remember some question/s in the PS seemed to have no right answer? I remember other posters also talking about trying to calculate and never getting the answer.
