Looks like we are in trouble. NRMP is screwing around in there!

On a more serious note, I noticed NRMP's tweet today that said if you don't match prelim, they will tell you your advanced position Monday. Sweet!

Err it says "geographic location of your advanced position." I wonder if that'll be down to the city or just "you matched somewhere in the northeast"
 
Does your school have a Match Day ceremony? If so are you going? My school doesn't but i'll be doing my own little partying.
 
We have a ceremony. Pull names out of a hat, everyone puts in a doctor, last person gets the money. We get to open envelopes whenever we want. Then they take us out for lunch

I like that style much better than ours.

We have to do graduation photos in the morning and then they make this huge drawn out deal about it with whatever theme the class decided on. I'd rather just get my envelope, open it with my friends and family and go home.

We do the same, but we put in a dollar instead of a doctor. 😉

There are a few other schools that do that, too. Michigan and Miami I think do it as well, but I think Miami puts in $5 each.

Edit: To the poster above, my school starts drawing names out of a hat right at noon randomly. For those of us that wish not to participate in that, they will let you pick up your envelop right at noon and open it then (you still have to be present at the restaurant). Otherwise, you have to wait until 1 PM to go online and find out if you choose not to attend the event.

I thought having match day ceremonies was standard at all schools but I guess not. We put in $5 each time with the last person taking all the money. Called up one by one randomly and then open envelope with family. So hard to focus on rotations with match day next week. Apparently the school finds out around 10 am so they have time to organize the ceremony.

I'd say the first two are stronger, although seven psychopaths wasnt bad. The depth and Easter eggs in Se7en is almost mind boggling.
 
Five Guys is becoming to spread out, their quality has gone down. I used to eat there a lot.
 
I wish In N Out would come to the east. I make expensive trips out west just for their double double.

yea i second the in and out in the northeast. that would be awesome! we had something that was similar, called fresh n fast, but they closed...

on an unrelated note, im definitely ... anxious about tomorrow llol
 
I have been buying lots of stuff to distract me. I've read like 5 powerlifting/strongman training manuals.

I was hoping that the email today would give me some kind of confirmation today that I indeed matched radiology, rather than the EM program---thought maybe it would say something like, "You have matched at both a prelim and advanced position." That way I would know that I matched rads.

All mine said was "Congrats you have matched."

Did the email to any of you guys that had only prelims + rads on your list say anything different than that?

No, it just says congrats you have matched
 
I matched and thanks to not matching at a TY/Prelim year, I know where too.

Little bit of a gut check, but nice knowing where I will be.
 
I would take this down. You are probably not supposed to post this. Better safe than sorry. It may be considered a match violation? Or is that only if you divulge specific programs?
