I've already seen that thread and that's why I asked this question. I just wanted to know if it's an automatic mass email or people get it in segments/timezones/different times than others.
I would guess, some schools (aka NYU) send a mass email because they were saying here how NYU system failed to send the emails last year until 4:00pm

I just got an email from TN saying they are most likely done handing out interviews boooo 🙁

"We will spend December 1st to approximately the first week in January issuing acceptances." for the people who did interview

So how is everyone spending their decision day eve? (Need tips to make it go by faster)

Work until 1pm. Gym. Then watch a couple episodes of west world and the IU vs UNC. Should be about 1145 at that point
I dreamt I got waitlisted everywhere I interviewed, and woke up in the middle of the night in a panic 😱

F me... my worst fear.

I think mine should be around 4 or 5pm eastern time if I get accepted at musc. I wont get the official letter until dec 1st, but i will know tomorrow because they send acceptance snail mail.
I think I accidentally put my home mailing address...I thought about calling MUSC to change the mailing address...but then I didn't wan to sound cocky. I guess my parents will be letting me know my fate.

I think its different with every student; if I recall she was already in the military so she had one shot to get in. Don't quote me on this. lol
I'm pretty sure for Army, you don't sign your contract until you get a acceptance...if not, they withdraw the scholarship ("disqualify"), and give it to the next person on the waitlist. I'm still waiting to get my MEPs physical...

I feel like today is our last day to dream about the possibilities. I've spent these last few months imagining what it would be like to live in NYC, Boston, or to get into my dream school. I've searched apartments, picked out furniture, and day dreamed what my day would be like in a new city. I thought that since I interviewed there, there was a very real possibility that those things could happen. After tonight that changes. Once we are accepted and choose a school, we essentially close the different pathways our life could have gone down. So I am going to take this opportunity to think about all the places I've been these past few months and dream about all the different possibilities. What an awesome scenario we are in. For many of us, tomorrow cements our careers in dentistry, and with it a whole new life.
This sounds like a commencement speech🙂

I have no reservations about reapplying, Dentistry is absolutely my calling, but man would it be nice to get in this cycle (preferably tomorrow).

I have thought the same thing! The only issue is that the main reason people have to reapply is because of a poor/uncompetitive GPA/DAT score(s) or another lacking part of their application. I have no idea what they would expect us to do to improve if we already have above par DAT, GPAs and shadowing/extracurriculars. I know I have laid it all on the table and I really can't think of what else I could possibly do to improve my app. Perhaps lots of research with 100s of publications?
