For each of the following cases (a and b) indicate
1. if the patient is in respiratory or metabolic acidosis or alkalosis and
2. list if there is complete, oartial or no compensation occuring
3. if there is compensation. list the system respinsible for the compensation

b. A patient complains of vomiting for several days. The patients blood tests reveal a bicarbonate level at 28 mEq/L and a PaCO2 of 40 mmHG
