Do you think its bad to take <15 credits and just maintain above 12 to keep full time status? I am in the situation where my senior year I only need x amount of classes and really do not want to take classes for no reason (i would rather have the extra time to study and maintain good grades and get a job and save some $). Also the possibility of interviews in the fall... so what do you all think?

As long as you're full time you should be fine.

I wouldn't take more classes than you need. Requiring less credits now meant that you had harder semesters before. Just do well and you'll be fine.

i believe taking full-time status is better than not. Just fill the gap with some elective that can be mark boosters, but for sure to take some senior level courses to show that you can handle them.

You could take easy free electives, but yah 12 or more hours is fine

I was part-time for the first time ever in college this semester...but only because I already got in and needed to save some money. :meanie:

My wife only had two semesters of "full time" credits. Almost every semester was between 6 and 11 credits. I don't believe she was asked about it at a single interview. She was however asked how many hours per week she worked (40-50) at at least one interview.

Anyway, you mentioned you would not like to take 15+ credits so you can work. I really don't think it would be an issue at all.

Good luck! 🙂

I guess I'm over doing it with 26 credit hours for the fall and about 17 credits for the spring. 😱

Yea. I'm trying to avoid going to summer school next year. Most of the classes are humanities and social sciences with only four science classes. I'm only worried about one of the science classes right now at this point.

This is a little random, but I guess I am along kinda of the same lines. I was thinking of taking an online Pathophysiology course, which is actually a nursing course, but I think it would be very informative for pre-med as well.

I'm in a seven yr med program, so tech I'm a senior now (if I choose to be and not take another year) and I'm taking Orgo I over with two GEs. Is Pathophysiology really time-consuming and if so do you guys think that it's a good idea to take it?

Depends how in depth the course is taught. For nursing, not so much - my sister took the course with me (shes in nursing) and I found it pretty damn easy while she on the other hand didn't.
