I know that these are supposed to be the easy fields to fill out-- (so sorry if this is a stupid question!)

1. Course Number-- If the course is Chem 1A, do you put "Chem 1A" or just "1A"?

2. Course Name-- In the transcript the name of the course is abbreviated, should I enter the name as it is seen on the transcript or the full name?
For example-- on my transcript a course is written as "Lin Alg & Diff Eqns" but should I write it out as "Linear Algebra & Differential Equations" or keep it exactly as seen on the transcript?

Thanks in advance!

1. Either or. SDNers called to check this one with AMCAS and they want "Chem 1A" but if a class is ambiguous in terms of classification and you don't want the dept. throwing them off, just leave it as "1A" -- take with skepticism though since my advisor told me about this one and not AMCAS.

2. I spelled out the real words. I think there's less consensus on this one. Or is there...?

Since real people are going to be looking at these things, use whatever is on the transcript, not the full name. Much easier to identify.
