Course Prefix Not Matching Description?

I took some of the required pre-med courses (specifically English) through the honors college at my university because it fulfilled multiple graduation requirements. Since the course has an Honors prefix and does not explicitly state in the title that it's an English course or that I took it for composition credit, will I have to retake English through the English department itself? Can I have the Honors course show up on AMCAS as English?
