Ok, this may sound like a dumb question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. I noticed USC has a mammalian physiology course requirement, do you think Anatomy and Physiology will satisfy this? I know I should just call and ask but I register today and their marticulation system doesnt have my school. THANKS and please HURRY!

does your class have a lab too? USC is pretty strict on its requirements. I had asked them a similar questions and they said a combined anat/phys class wasn't satisfactory for the requirement. You should make sure from USC and see if there is a class that is just Physiology. I know mammalian physiology is equivalent to human physiology...i dunno if that helps.

The mammalian physio USC requires is just your average old human physiology (oh yeah and WITH a lab). If your school only offers anatomy/physio it sounds ok to me, but I won't be the one lookin at your app! For the sake of time, I suggest you register for it and call USC tomorrow to confirm. Good lucks! 👍

Thanks but did you mean mammalian physiology is the same as human anatomy or anatomy and physiology, b/c I have both in my shcool?

I think it also depends on the school. Becoz I was going to take a Anatomy/Physiology (combined) class at ELAC and USC said that they'll accept that class from ELAC. So check w/ USC becoz in same rare cases, they might accept the class you are registered for

Anatomy & Physiology (8 credits), Mammalian Physiology (4 credits), and Comparative Anatomy (4 credits) are three different courses. At all pharmacy schools that I apply they want A&P (8 credits). At my current undergraduate college, this course (A&P) doesn't satify the requirement of Biology major, but the other two courses do. Hey, you should check out the online catologue of each school for reference!

mammalian physiology = physiology. I know they will not accept anatomy alone. Anatomy + Physiology, I don't know so, you should check with USC.
