I signed up for a class two years ago that I informally withdrew from and stopped going to and later received an X grade. At my school, an X grade indicates No Basis for Grade and is used when there is little or no attendance and there is no work/performance upon which to base an academic evaluation. Should this course be marked as W on the AMCAS?

From the AMCAS manual: "W Courses from which you have officially withdrawn or "dropped"
