Course withdrawal due to job

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
If you do well in the course the second time you take it, it will be a non-issue. Also, many schools have secondaries that allow you to explain why you earned W's.

Agreed! You have a pretty good reason for withdrawing from the course, it wasn't because it was too difficult or you were failing, but your health-related job didn't allow time for it and that you've decided to take it later. So long as you can explain that to admissions people I think you will be fine, especially if that's the only W you'll have on your transcript.

No one will care about the W if you take it and get an A. If it comes up, just explain the conflict with the job.
