I tried searching for this but nothing came up. So when entering coursework on the app, there's a place for the number, and then a place for the course name.

I entered the courses according to my transcript, with an exception. Let me give an example: my transcript says: CHEM 14A -- EQUILBR&ACIDS&BASES, and CHEM 14B THRMDN&ELCTCHM&KNTC. (due to character limits, i guess)
On the app, I entered CHEM 14A (course number) Equilibrium, Acids, and Bases (full name), and CHEM 14B Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, and Kinetics. (like it is on the schedule of classes)

I did this for all 40+ courses. Will AMCAS not like that during verification (how exact should it be to the transcript?)? My worry is that schools will not recognize important classes, like for my physics, all three quarters say, PHYSIC-LIFE SCI MAJ, instead of Physics for Life Science Majors: Electricity and Magnetism (and the other subjects).

Any other UCLA students with similar experience in entering coursework?
Thank you!

This is the right thread, right? If not, feel free to move

Entering the full course title is fine. It won't affect your verification.

It will be fine. I did the same thing for my physics classes because they were abbreviated strangely.

I, too, wrote out the full courses names on AMCAS. This caused no trouble. Some of the abbreviations are just really indecipherable, otherwise.
