I have two questions regarding the Course Work category.

1) Are we required to list a course in which we withdrew if we later took the course?

2) what kind of course would economics fall under?

If the first attempt is on your transcript, yes. If you withdrew and got a "W" it'll be on your transcript. If you withdrew and didn't get a "W", don't worry about it. The transcript "rule" is pretty helpful during this process...get a copy of your official transcript and copy it as closely as possible.

2) what kind of course would economics fall under?

According to the manual, econ is "Behavioral & Social Sciences (BESS)"

Good luck :luck:

edit: reflecting on Q2, I think if your asking, you must be guessing on some of the other ones...I'd recommend downloading the amcas manual and finding the "course classification" section around p.50 or so. Almost every class you can imagine is listed there and will eliminate guesswork as well as any possibility that your AMCAS will have errors in it.
