Hi guys,

I am foreign grad pharmacist.
I just finished my internship and i want to apply for cpje.
I am on H1 B visa and CA pharmacy board is asking institutional or hospital intern hours. I applied to so many hosp. for volunteer internship but they are not accepting volunteer interns. I can not work for other company because I am on H1B.
Does anyone has same situations like me?
Does anyone get approval for cpje without showing hosp intern hours.
Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks
cefzil

CA pharmacy law requires both community and hospital setting intern experiences. However it does not states how many you need. There is a form you need to sign to certify that you have both setting experiences. My recommendation is trying to get some even only several hours.

Hi j10c,

Thanks for your reply.
By the way i saw ur thread that u took the cpje.
can you please give me the idea how was the exam?
Which book u study for the exam?
Also there is lots of calculations just like naplex?
i passed my naplex but now i am preparing for my cpje.

CPJE is kinda ok for me. There were not many calculation questions and they are not difficult. I just read APHA and CA Community law review.

Hello, does anyone know how to get even a few hours of the institutional experience required by the CA board as part of the 1,500 intern hour requirement?
