Does any one know the CPT code for bilateral facial motor nerve recording from nasalis? I know that the blink reflex has V and VII components and the code for that one is 95933-50. Also, bilateral needle EMG/needle of masseter and orbicularis oris. How would I bill for each one of those muscles if done bilateral?

So I guess that for b/l blink I use 95933-50. For b/l facial nerve to nasalis I use 95900 x2

For b/l masseter and ornicularis oris I use 95868. I guess the code is similar to T paraspinals: No matter how many CN's I sample I can only bill it once. Is that the case with T paraspinals? No matter how many levels u can bill only once?

correct. The T-paraspinals are reimbursed REALLY well (probably because they are not done often, and carry some risk)

As of Jan 1, when doing NCS with 95900-95904 and EMG same day, you must use codes 95885 - 95887 instead of 95860-95864 and 95867-95870. So in this case, instead of 95868, one would need to start using 95887.

I am getting confused. Are billing codes chaging for 2012? That really sucks... I dont know what am I suppose to do now.

If billing a three limb emg with ncs(95900-4) now we would bill as 95886 X 3 rather than 95863?

Is that everyone's understanding?

Thanks
