So I'm taking my DAT next Saturday, but haven't taken full length QR tests yet, although I have reviewed the math basics via an SAT book.

My question is which is more effective, Kaplan QR subject tests or Crack MATH. I have both, but have limited time. Also, if you've done Crack MATH, which exams did you like most (DAT level exams)? I have the 25 Crack MATH exams. Thanks

bump...i have even less time! taking mine wednesday..any advice would be great!
ive done a few cdm test and i dont like the wording of those questions at all...is this what i should expect on the DAT?

versatility, have you done the online workshops??
i started off just with the math from the big kaplan book, but then looked at the workshops, which have taken so long to complete..
has anyone done all of these, and do they help a lot?

You should remember your being timed, so even if you can bang out problems, you're being effin timed!! So def try to speed problem solve with what problems you have

So true. glk I haven't done the kaplan ones yet, but yeah whenever you're doing practice problems you have to do them under timed conditions.

workshop helps but it take so much time. Those crazy word problems. I hope i pull an 18.
from what i heard is that you should do under time condition so i think crack is better.
Guys good luck

i have Kaplan Math on paper, overall its good but no timer/pacer.
Few days ago purchased Crack Dat Math. I like it for the following reasons: 1) has a timer/pacer; 2) computer based; 3) it breaks down the results as graphs by math topic; 4) you can select questions by topic so that you can practice your weak areas;
Took two tests with Crack DAT Math... didnt finish, run out of time😎...they were harder than Topscore.

When it comes to math I think doing a variety of problems and understanding the concepts is key. For example, using Top Score/Achiever with Crack DAT Math and Kaplan. Each source has a different take on asking math questions utilizing different concepts. If you use as many sources for practice and understand how to do the problems fast you are set.

Stick with crack math. It will help you with timing and thats the biggest part of it. also its questions are more similar to the actual DAT than Kaplan. Good luck 👍
