the orthodontic, oral maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery people at my program do craniofacial research on cleft lip/palate (+ other syndromes) growth and treatment protocols.

Sounds fun, my primary goal is to be a practitioner, but I can see myself possibly doing research in the future. Thanks!

I just finished up a research scholarship at my school, I studied craniofacial development during embryogenesis in a mouse model. It is a very interesting area!

Did you publish an papers? If so, where can I find them?

I worked as an NP in a craniofacial program for a while and we did research on mandibular distraction, various syndromes i.e. Aperts, Crouzon's etc...Basic science research focused on signal transduction within the calverial sutures... as some examples.. Fun work.
