How much is it frowned upon when they see that my chem and physics grades are mostly C's, while all my bio grades are A's and B's? science and overall averages to a 3.1, so how bad do those chem and physics grades look?

Why did you get the C's? I'd retake if you can. Granted, my opinion means nothing, but if you know in your head you can do better -- why not. Do a 20+ credit semester and retake the old classes. There's no point in underachieving if you can achieve more.

Now if you're truly not good at this classes and you did your best -- then you'll have to deal with it 🙂 Explain it at your interview and hopefully they'll be understanding. I think they will expect a lot out of you in dschool though, so be careful how you answer.

Hey dont feel bad... I made mostly C's in ALL science classes. I'm retaking most of the prereqs. Got a C in Gen Bio, retaking that now 😴

Treasure Island, I'm in exactly the same position as you. I performed stellar in my BIO classes, and quite average (2.7 - 2.9 GPA) in Chemistry and Physics. I too wonder how this will look! I think the fact that GPA's are broken down be BCP subject will benefit us! What do you think?

My science and overall is also around 3.1 - but that doesn't do justice as to what my trends in grades are, or how superbly I peformed in my Bio Classes -

I basically kicked Mendels ass! And he was tag-teamed with Darwin too! I pinned them both down. But I got my ass kicked by Netwon and Avegadro.

I'll definately keep up do date with this post!

Hey, Dane: I'm curious as to how you earned a 3.99 GPA. Is that even possible? I can comprehend a 4.00 Science (straight A's), but not a 3.99 Overall! You must have taken a 'BUNCH/TON/LOADS' of credits/hours. And while taking ALL those hours (I can't imagine the number), you must have made a B+ or A- in just one of them!

Am I on the right track? Because if you took the average 120 Hours, then one B would drop your GPA more than by .01 Points. See What I mean?

Any Way...Back To The Thread...
