credit not accepted /suppplementation means?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
It means you can't use AP credits to fulfill the prereq's. So say a school requires physics. You can't take the physics C ap test and have that count by itself. You need to then take physics at university as well. What this meant for me (I used AP physics credit in school and will be attending USUHS in the fall) is that I took a physics course in getting my major and then they counted my engineering coursework for the second semester of physics. (since a lot of those classes essentially are physics)

Overall though it means what it says: you can't use AP credit. If a school requires an English class, take an English class. Etc. There is still usually some leeway of course. (say you AP out of one of the two semesters of Gen Chem I doubt many schools will freak out over this)
