Credit Rating affect student loans?

Hi

Yes it is the single most important factor. The information booklet for Citiassist clearly states the increasing interest rates for decreasing levels of credit history. If your/your co-signer's credit history is positively bad, the loan may get rejected all together. I know a couple of people who got a rejection for their loan. It will affect your own credit history and interest rate too. So please be very very careful when applying for a loan.
