Ok i have read in many posts that if you have a good credit score you have a better chance of getting in carribean schools. I have about 100,000 dollars in the bank (which is my bros under my name), and have a gpa of about 3.0 and 2.7 scnce....and not taken the mcat yet....how would i show them that i have have a good credit score( i don't even know what it is yet) and that i got the cash to pay for most of my school....do i state that in my personal statement letter, or send them my bank statement?....Also what do you think my chances would be of getting in with the stats above....i am hoping to get in the mid 20's mcat when i take it in january......

JUSt for the heck of it....What is the lowest MCAT score that you have heard of someone you know or heard of someone having....

thanks😍

Well, the date on the original post means that this is the same thread that I read earlier. In which case:

Your credit score makes no difference for admission; when you're applying for loans then it will likely come into play. Don't put it in your personal statement unless you want to sound extremely crass.

Some schools have a worksheet asking how you're planning to pay, you can list personal assets there.

There's lots of misinformation on here, don't believe everything you hear. The credit thing is one of them. I did not have to authorize SGU to run a credit check on me anywhere in my application and to my knowledge they have not.

Well he is either a troll or not competent enough to be a physician. To the OP, with 100K you will get into the top 4, so submit that in a letter before even applying. With 250K in the bank you may be able to basic sciences and just start straight into clinicals, and if you own your own home and have more than 300K in equity and 500K liquid cash both basic sciences and clinicals may be waived by the top 4 and you may be able to scramble for residencies directly after being accepted to medical school.

Good luck 👍
