Let's say I go to a certain college for 2 years and then transfer to another for my last 2 years of undergrad. Well I've heard that the new university won't count the GPA from the previous college and you start a new one there. So would med schools not see your GPA from your previous colleges classes or do they look at both and weigh them out? How does that work?

When you apply to medical schools through AMCAS you have to input all the courses you have taken in every college that you attended. Then, AMCAS recalculates your GPA using all those courses in their calculation.

So yes, the courses that you took in your first college will be included in your final GPA.

That's correct, all of the classes will be averaged together. It does not matter how your school calculates grades because AMCAS has their own system to make it uniform regardless of the college(s) you attend.
