I think (maybe...) they are just slow on their invites this year! I haven't heard anything and I submitted my supplemental back in September! :x
 
I was invited on Oct. 9th for an interview-- and am scheduled for Nov. 21st! It did take them a long time to invite me for the interview, so I wouldn't worry.
 
I received interview invite last week. I submitted my SA about 2 weeks ago.

I just got an interview invitation today! For either Nov 22 or Dec 13..

It tells me to log onto my portal to schedule the interview!
 
I submitted my PharmCAT application and supplemental on 10/31. I wonder how long it would take for them to review my application.
 
I took them about 2 months to evaluate mine and send me an interview invite for next year. I've seen they added a on-site writing sample at the end of the interview.
 
Hi everyone, I am currently 1st year pharmacy student. I was in the same shoe with you guys last year when I was doing all these application. I am happy to help if you guys have any questions. Just PM me. Especially, for those who will go to Creighton for interview, I have an offer for you guys. I am currently living in a big , nice apartment which is only 2-3 mins walking to campus. I know some of you guys will need a place to stay for at least 1 night to have the interview for the next day. I can do that plus pick you up at the airport and drop you off for your interview day. Meals will also be included. If any of you guys are interested, just send me an email for a rate. I will ensure that would be a very affordable rate 🙂. Good luck everyone !!! Creighton is a very good school. They care a lot for students. You will love Creighton.

Hey everyone! I just got accepted to the campus pathway and plan on attending Creighton! Please let me know if you choose to attend Creighton as well!
I am beyond thrilled to be a future Bluejay!
 
I heard the same thing from people already enrolled. Someone told me they added a writing sample. How was it compared to PCAT writing samples?
 
Congrats! How did you find out your acceptance? I interviewed on 11/15, and my supplemental finally said complete on the 5th online. Wondering if I'll be getting something in the mall soon 🙂

Well I am an alternate. At least it is not a rejection 🙂 I know I need some more experience, therefore I'm working on that. Hoping for good news in the spring.

Do you know how the process works with alternates? any friends of yours get accepted who were alternates? how is the first year going so far? I'm so excited about this program. It's the only way I can obtain my PharmD. When I went for the interview it was wonderful. Everyone was so welcoming and really just wanted to get to know you.

If you are alternate, you still have a chance, they pick student from alternate list after every interview. They do not wait till the end of the interviews to look at alternate list. They revisit alternate list after they interview the next group. So you might be more qualified than some people in the next interview group and get accepted. And even if you don't get in now, there is still time, they accepted some students two weeks before welcome week.

Ahhh I didn't know they reviewed after each interview. That makes me even more excited 🙂 I haven't received my letter in the mail yet so I'm assuming it probably will let me know all the information I'm wondering about.
 
Did anyone receive an acceptance letter for 11/22/13 interview? or any letters regarding the status of the interview? I already got a call but still waiting for a letter for two weeks now.

Still waiting as of last Friday but I'm out of town now. I got the phone call as well 🙂
 
I got acceptance letter thru the regular mail ( not email, not phone call). Yeah ! Creighton is the best school in Midwest! ;-)
 
I completely agree 🙂 Are you distance or campus? When did you receive the letter, if I may ask? 🙂
 
I have an interview this month at Creighton and I'm a bit nervous. Excited to see the school though!
 
Hi all.I just joined the forum.I also have an interview scheduled for the 24th of this month. Not nervous. Just simulating the interview process in my head .So my mind is busy right now with all these questions I think they might ask.Of course also answering them in my head and editing them as I get closer to the date.

are you interviewing for the campus or distant pathway?
 
For the distant pathway although I am contemplating changing to the campus format.

I just submitted my PharmCAS and SA 1/31/14-How long do you think it will be before I hear about an interview? I have 3 interviews scheduled Feb-March and one school requires $2000 to hold my spot... (I am only interested in the distance pathway for a number of reasons.)

Also, can you kind of explain the work load and how you handle "life" with school? I am a mother of a 4 and 6 year old, nurse for 6 years, and following my husband wherever he gets accepted into CRNA school-that is, only if I get accepted into the distance pathway. If not, he'll just apply where I get accepted (very supportive :highfive:) One other question-how much writing (essays or papers) do you have to do??

I was curious, does anyone know how many of the available spots for the distance pathway have been filled. I am applying for it as well.

It also stated that they would waive the supplemental fee, and my first name was mentioned in the "PS" part. Did anyone else receive an email like this? Is it automated? I think it's a little strange this late in the game, especially for free. Has anyone experienced something similar? I've already been accepted to a few programs, but the distance pathway is becoming more appealing. Does an online program like this limit clinical opportunities to anyone's knowledge?

I received the same e-mail this afternoon. Thought it was strange because I'm missing one of the prerequisite requirements, but I submitted anyways.

I have been getting emails from Creighton for the past couple of months and I actually got a letter in the mail also encouraging me to apply by March 1st. I was intrigued by the distance pathway but I don't know anything about it. I might have to look into it more.

I also received the e-mail. Did you have to upload the supplemental essays before you can submit? I reaccessed my supplemental, and it still shows that I need to upload the essays, and it doesn't say anything about a fee waiver. So I have no idea what they meant about "streamlining" the supplemental so that it can be completed in minutes.
