Has anyone heard from Creighton who had their application put on hold for the January PCAT scores?

in a way , yes. They sent me an email stating my application part one was complete- now they said they are waiting on receipt of grades from this semester. No news of an interview.

Yeah I received an email about a week ago stating that my file was now complete and that they would be emailing qualified applicants to schedule an interview. I am not holding my breath because I know that it's a really competitive program to get into.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought the last interview date for Creighton is March 18.

They told me the dates a long time ago, 2/17, so maybe they come out with more dates...

Actually if you look at their website now, they have added additional interview dates (March 24th and April 7th). I received an email from them dated March 6th stating that my file was now complete and that they would be contacting qualified applicants anytime between now and April for interviews. I think that March 18th is the last scheduled "regional interview" and anybody else that interviews will have to travel to the campus. I am doubtful that I will hear from them because although my undergraduate and graduate (not that this really makes a difference) GPAs are competitive, I am not the best standardized test taker so needless to say, my PCAT scores aren't the greatest.

Good luck to those still waiting to hear from them because it seems like they are still contacting candidates for interviews!

I received an email yesterday inviting me for an interview on March 24th. I have to reply by the 20th. I'll deny the invitation though.

Wow flor that's great...congrats on the interview invite! I take it you have already been accepted someone else? It just doesn't seem like many people turn down an interview with Creighton...especially for the web-based program.

yeah, I got accepted somewhere else and still waiting to hear from other schools. Creighton actually sent me a letter in december saying that my application would be placed on hold (or waitlist) for an interview and it would be re-evaluated in march. At that time I didn't think I'd have a chance but it seems that they are still interviewing but only in their campus. There's no more off-site interviews available. The interview dates are march 20 and april 17... so I hope that gives you an idea when the selection process ends.

What was the subject line of the email that they sent you inviting you for an interview? Yeah I know that I am being childish but there is just so much on the line for me right now and for some reason I am just terrified everytime I get anything in the mail/email from an admissions office.

What was the subject line of the email that they sent you inviting you for an interview? Yeah I know that I am being childish but there is just so much on the line for me right now and for some reason I am just terrified everytime I get anything in the mail/email from an admissions office.

I highly doubt it's a rejection email. I got rejected from Creighton, and it came in the form of a letter. So open your mail! 🙂

I got an email from Creighton yesterday saying that they did away with taking classes during the summers for the web-based program. It seems like they sent it to all applicants. Or maybe just the web-based ones?

Thanks starsweet...that is exactly what it was. I guess I feel better because it wasn't a rejection email but it also wasn't an interview invite either so the wait continues.

the email subject says: Creighton Invitation to Interview
I would just open the email and get it over with. It may be that they are asking you questions regarding pcat or pre-requisites or something relevant to your application. At this point, you want to respond promptly so don't be afraid.
