Don't post any specific questions.

I thought this years exam was challenging compared to the previous 2 years. I kind of checked out mentally so didn't study as much as I should of. Fair amount of genetics which is annoying.

Any other thoughts?

I'm R3 but it was my first time to sit for the exam this year
found the first paper too long
did not recieve my scores yet
what is the average score for R3 any idea??

Scores just came back on 2/21/14.

Test was a bit more challenging than previous years I felt.

Per the score report, the mean is 200 with a standard deviation of 20. This is standard for the test and does not change from year to year. If you're below 180, then the chance of failing the written boards is high.

I'm a PGY-3. i thought it was tough too, but somehow I managed to get my highest score yet. 🙂
