Hi SBN,

This is my first post here, just wondering how much of a hinderance criminal records are for getting into any med program.

I've just recently been caught twice for driving while prohibited in the past week... Which may result in a criminal charge. I have not harmed anyone through these actions, nor have I had a drinking and driving criminal record, just these two.

If anybody has prev. experience or knowledge to share, it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

J

Nobody can tell you, but I think at least it won't be like a DUI or another type of greater charge. If you just got this and are applying now, there's no way you can say this was a youthful indiscretion. Longer it is from this charge/conviction and the less they will focus on it.

The fact that you got caught twice in one week for the same crime might raise a red flag. However, like you said, it could be much worse (DUI, etc).
