Any current residents have recommendations on good ways to evaluate how to rank programs? I feel like it's getting kind of difficult to figure out which ones are the best fit

I would say you go with your gut. Ask yourself which program would I like to be the most. If you have trouble deciding, list what is most important to you and score the programs. I am not quite that analytical when it comes to personal decisions.

When deciding what programs to apply to, I made an excel spreadsheet. I assigned a point value for certain characteristics then added each program's points up at the end. For example, if location was very important to me, I would assign that characteristic a "5". If a place was in that location they would get 5 points, but if a place was in a location that I wasn't as fond of, they might get a 2.
Another characteristic that wasn't as important to me, for example number of residents, might get assigned a point value of 2 or 3. Does that make sense?
I don't know that this will help as much in the ranking process but just an idea.
