Critical thinking Class or exam

Hey guys,

So I was just looking at classes for the fall and I noticed that I can satisfy my critical thinking requirement by taking an exam or the class ( Critical thinking). Personally, I feel more inclined just to take the exam because I can move more classes around/ I don't have to pay for the class. However, a few pre-med friends of mine told me that the dean of admissions at our med school wanted to see applicants taking the critical thinking class. I would probably do well in it if i did take it, so I am a crossroads, should I take a critical thinking exam or the class?

I have heard that some school do not accept such exam
You have to look into the specific schools
However, I would suggest that you take the class to avoid any problem
plus, you are confident that you will do well in the class

I didn't know critical thinking classes were a prereq for some dschools. Do you know any schools off the top of your head that had that have it as a prereq?

what I meant is that your 'english critical thinking' class can fulfill the composition requirement.
However if you take the exam, dschool might not accept it. Usually, exam will give you pass/fail while some dschool want a letter grade.

I've never heard of such a class... and I know it's not a pre-requisite for any school. So I think either way you would be safe.

oh that makes sense...this is just a different gen ed.Its not a english class. i have a separate class that for that. Thanks for the help though guys.
