As for extracurricular activities, I've volunteered as a bio tutor for 30 hours over the summer and as a chem tutor for roughly 20 hours. I'm the director of publications for a science club at my university, I'm running for president of the red cross club at my university (If i lose i get vice president instead of president), I volunteered at the food pantry last fall, it's a program that donates food to students that cant afford it, I joined a social fraternity, I volunteered for roughly 120 hours in a melanoma research lab in the fall of my sophomore year, I'm currently in a microbiology lab which is focused on algae and fungus. I was at a leadership retreat in the fall of my sophomore year that last two days. I'm currently a volunteer learning assistant for the chemistry department, and I've been in a fraternity since last spring. I appreciate whatever criticisms or advice you peeps have to offer.

first word of advice is to stop taking math classes if you can help it. seems like that's what's hurting your GPA most. also would advise against taking physics with calculus, since it's harder and doesn't look any better on a transcript to most admissions committees than regular physics

other than that you are in pretty good shape if you keep getting As. try to get your overall GPA above a 3.6, study hard for the MCAT, keep up the volunteering, and start thinking about shadowing

When you say (DR) does that mean you received a W for the course?

Like the previous poster, it looks good and you still have ample time to improve your gpa. Don't take more than you can handle, because it'll only hurt you in the end.

Grades> EC's. If you feel overextended/ can't seem to keep up with the course work, drop some EC's.

^--- definitely agree with this
also, don't worry you still have a ton of time. enjoy college and do the best you can to get the best grades. until sophomore year, i barely had a 3.0

Yes

You have alot of drops. Is this at a private or state school?

As someone else said, start thinking about shadowing. Also, what are your plans for clinical experiences? If you are taking a gap year then you have tons of time. If not, then you should starting looking into these things as soon as possible.

Really?

Depends on if they show up in transcript or not. If they were dropped internally during course selection, fine, but if they're W's without good reason then. ehhhh...
3 of them come from one credit courses

I was planning on becoming a scribe
