Hello all, any input would be appreciated:
1st year: used FA for class and NBME basic science "shelf exams"
2nd year:
1. Did most of Uworld(400 left), heavy annotations into FA, read every single explanation of wrongs and rights answers.
2. Watched Pathoma 2 twice, and tried to memorize/understand as much as i could.
3. used FA throughout the year, read every chapter of it at least once, and tried to memorize random details after understanding. Weakest is probably derm section and female reproductive(i know.. working on that.)
4. Watched all sketchymicro twice, even for viruses.
5. used some picmonics for antibiotics, cancer drugs.
School: top 5 in a very low tier US medschool.
-have taken 3 CBSE practice STEP 1 of 200 Qs - paid by school:
190 - December 2014
225 - April 2015
X - May 2015
Planning on using:
-Uworld for 2nd time + re-doing Wrong/marked
-FA15 with uworld annotations
-Pathoma- should I watch it or read it ? - i have watched it 2 or 3 times durign 2nd year
-Rx qbank 2350 Qs
-Rx videos(not for pathology sections ?? .. bc Pathoma)
-Sketchymicro
-Picmonic (only for some weird drugs/toxicities.. ANY RECOMENDATIONs ? )
-Not really planning on substituting DIT2014 for FA/Rx videos during the time i will be reading the sections and doing Rx.
Dedicated study time:
I plan to take 1 NBME every week.
11 days = Finish up and annotating UWorld into FA
12th: NBME online

**Next 49 days: 7 weeks **
-7 NBMEs: Write specific notes of Facts/Concepts I did not know. Intercalate one offline 1 week and next week an online (Forms 11-17)
-4 wks (24 days)= Read ONE (or 2) chapters of FA along with corresponding Pathoma chapter, then do ALL Rx Qbank for that section studied the same day.
-Might use Rx videos to help me read FA/some give some nice hints and add uworld comments.
-read only educational objective for the ones I get right.
-Mark Guessed and Wrong.(repeat later)
write separate notes of Facts/concepts I did not know (wrong ones)
Aim for 98~ Qs per day.
