It's not even 2005 yet but I need to start planning on what to do during the summer if it involves an application process...
I have to earn all of my money and I'm currently car-less... It would be in my benefit if I could get a paying job over the summer. The problem is that I also could use some volunteer hours and of course I can't get paid for that.
I really despise research and it would be a very long summer if I did that. My school also advertises for shadowing programs and such but they're only for minorities and economically disadvantaged.
I really don't know what to do. Maybe I should just suck it up and tolerate research. I've also considered taking physics over the summer and get a part time job doing something random in hope that there won't be too many questions as to why I didn't do anything significant in science.
