I am one of the few unfortunate souls who has to retake CS...GRRRRRR. Anyway, I'm past the angry stage and ready to give it another shot next week. However, I do have one question. On my first try, I had an "encounter" which may or may not have had a patient with a red knee😀. I remember being rushed and nervous about what to do next. So, without being able to think of anyhing else to do I thought, "well lets smack her red throbbing knee with a reflex hammer". In a situation such as that, do you try reflexes in that knee, or just range of motion etc.

Think about your differential diagnosis for a painful red knee. Septic joint, gout, RA/inflammatory arthritis, OA. Why would you need reflexes? Maybe MS? You never know exactly what they want you to do, but I'd take the hit on the one point for reflexes in order to make sure the patient was comfortable. Just my 2 cents.
